BURLINGTON — Yates Center High’s Paul Stockebrand, who was reported on Friday as taking eighth in the Tri Valley League cross country meent, had a time of 19 minutes, 48 seconds for the 5K race.
Also competing in both the TVL and Burlington Invitational were runners from Humboldt High School.
Jacob Jones was 10th among league runners and 32nd overall in 20:10. Nick Keazertook 18th in TVL and 45th overall in 20:46.
Dylan Greve was 30th and 79th in 23:00 and Michal Davis was 31st and 84th in 24:14.
In the girls’ varsity race, Humboldt’s Kristin Todd ran the 4K distance in 25:10 for 19th in TVL and 43rd overall.
Humboldt’s Kelsey Cramer was fifth in 17:10, Michaela Bartlett was 10th in 18:41 and Hunter Isaac was 15th in 21:26.
Yates Center and Humboldt prepare for a Kansas Class 2A regional meet next Saturday at Mound City’s Sugar Valley Golf Course.
