HUMBOLDT — Humboldt Speedway’s 2011 racing season opens Saturday with the sixth annual Havoc at the Hummer. The United States Modified Tour Series (USMTS) comes to the Speedway.
It is the 19th time the USMTS modified stock cars have run at The Hummer. Humboldt Speedway features a newly-configured, high-banked, quarter-mile clay oval this season.
Gates open at 4:30 p.m. Saturday with the first heat race at 7 p.m.
Also running Saturday night will be the B-mods, factory stock and pure stock classes.
Regular point racing begins March 19 at Humboldt Speedway. Racing will be on Saturdays in March then switch to Fridays for the rest of the season starting in April.
