Wildcat junior high boys come up short

Marmaton Valley Junior High’s boys played doubleheaders on Monday and Tuesday, dropping all four contests.
On Monday, the Wildcats lost a pair to Jayhawk-Linn. The A team lost 48-16, while the B team fell 32-22.
In A team action, Trevor Wilson led Marmaton Valley with 12 points, all coming from 3-point field goals. Justice Pugh scored four points.
Brock Hall scored seven points to lead the Wildcat B team. Tristan Fraker and Robert Muse had four points each. Ethan Tavarez had three points and Tony Jefferis and Korbin Smith scored two points apiece.
On Tuesday, the A team fell 42-19, while the B team lost 31-29.
Pugh scored 17 points to lead the Wildcat A team. Jake Kale had the other two points.
Brock Hall scored seven points for the B team. Jefferis had six, and Tavarez and Kiefer Endicott had four points each. Smith and Fraker had three points. Robert Muse delivered one point.
