MORAN — Marmaton Valley’s junior varsity softball team split a doubleheader with Arma’s Northeast on Tuesday.
In game one, the Wildcats won 23-22. Makayla Brooks led the way, scoring a run in each inning, for six runs scored. She had two doubles, two singles and two walks. Tana Lutz had a home run, a double and two singles. Shayla Brooks had a triple and a double.
In game two, Marmaton lost 6-5. Clara Boyd had a double and single. Jesse Gardner had a single and run scored. Emily Smart had two singles.
The varsity team hosts Yates Center today for a doubleheader starting at 4:30 p.m.
