MOUND CITY — Marmaton Valley High’s girls had a painful night offensively Tuesday, falling 33-3 to host Jayhawk-Linn.
The Wildcats scored all of their points in the third quarter, on a field goal by Emily Meiwes and a free throw by Kaitlin Ensminger.
Jayhawk-Linn also prevailed in the junior varsity contest, 26-5, in two quarters. Magie Stevenson and Lauren Korte both scored two points for the Wildcats. Brooklyn Newman scored the other point.
Marmaton Valley resumes play Jan. 7 at Humboldt.
