MORAN — Marmaton Valley Junior High had a successful season-opener on the volleyball court Thursday, sweeping past visiting Crest Middle School in all three matches.
The Wildcat A team cruised to a 25-7 and 25-8 sweep, led by Kloie Snavely, who served up 15 points, and Kylee Resco, who had 10.
Kenna Boone chipped in with six service points; Layton Blevins added four.
In B team action, the Wildcats prevailed, 25-11 and 25-16. Emily Heskett was dominant from the service line, serving up 10 points.
Taygen Stroud followed with eight.
Ellie Stinnett made a clean sweep, serving up 14 points in Marmaton Valley’s 25-6 win in C team play.
Marmaton Valley travels to Yates Center Thursday.
