LEBO — Crest High’s Lady Lancers cut down on turnovers Tuesday night. They still found themselves on the short end of a 64-24 score.
“Lebo is the best shooting team we’ve faced this season,” said Terry Messenger, Crest girls’ head coach. “We didn’t play that bad but shot poorly.”
Crest, 1-14, began a three-game week on the road. The Lady Lancers play at Pleasanton Thursday and at home Friday.
The Lady Lancers finish the regular season with three games next week — all at home — Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.
The Wolves were up 39-14 at halftime. They held the Lady Lancers scoreless in the third quarter while adding 18 points.
Ashley Catt went 9 of 12 at the free-throw line for all of her points. Crest teammate Kurston Gilliland also scored nine.
