Youngsters honing their skills

Although the past few weeks of Iola Recreation Department games yielded close results, July Fourth fireworks came a bit early Monday night as youngsters provided more than a few explosions during a slew of blowout victories.

Although close finishes seemed a trend in the last few weeks, multiple teams won by double-digit margins during Monday’s round of Iola Recreation Department League action.
