Juvenile arrested
Iola police officers arrested a juvenile Monday afternoon following a reported battery at Iola Middle School. The juvenile was not identified.
Fender-benders
Andrew L. Chester was backing a City of Iola utility truck in the citys parking garage when he struck a parked city pickup May 10, Iola police officers reported.
Alfred G. Gonzales, 36, was backing his vehicle in the Orschlen Farm and Home parking lot Sunday when he struck a car driven by Paul L. Hughes Jr., 61. Neither was hurt.
