Diamond Daisy, formerly known as Iola Greenhouse, is filled with colorful fresh plants as well as a wide array of Christmas ornaments and other decorations for the holidays.
In addition, jewelry, plush animals, Tyler and Aromatique candles, room sprays, melters and potpourri are available at the shop at 1 E. Madison Ave.
“We are a full-service florist. We try to fulfill our customers’ wishes at an affordable cost to the customer,” said Kelley Spears, owner of the shop.
Shoppers have been coming into the shop looking for poinsettias, fresh wreaths and garlands to complete their holiday decorating.
If a customer has a favorite vase she may bring it into the shop to have it filled with fresh or artificial flowers. Much of the artificial foliage this year has lots of glitter and sparkle, Spears said.
Gift certificates make a special gift for that hard-to-buy- for person who enjoys flowers. Diamond Daisy also has a Birthday Club. When a person signs up for the Birthday Club she gets a certificate for one-half off an item during her birthday month.
The shop offers free gift wrapping and will deliver in Iola and surrounding communities for a small fee.
Large red and green felt stockings may be purchased either empty or filled with gift items from the shop.
All Christmas decorations are now 30 percent off through Christmas at Diamond Daisy, which is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursdays and 1 to 5 p.m. on Sundays through Christmas.
