Despite the rainy weather Friday, young swimmers gather at the Iola Municipal Pool to celebrate the annual Midnight Splash: Back to School event. Milo “Drumsticks” Combs made an appearance at the event. He took a photo op with kids and then led them in a chicken dance competition. The party was for USD 257 students attending kindergarten through sixth grade.
