Charles Carlson, 85, Lenexa, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Feb. 20, 2016.
He was born Oct. 31, 1930, in McPherson. Charles married Frances Denning on March 3, 1951, and they were reunited just in time to celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary. Charles is survived by three children and their spouses, five grandchildren and their spouses and seven great-grandchildren.
A celebration of his life will be from 6 to 8 p.m. March 3 at the Tomahawk Ridge Community Center Summit Room, 11902 Lowell, Overland Park. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Wounded Warriors.
