Frances Carlson (Denning), 82, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013. A memorial service was Friday afternoon at D.W. Newcomer’s Sons Johnson County Chapel, Overland Park. Inurnment will follow at a later date in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Ellis. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
Frances was born Aug. 31, 1930, in Ellis County. She married Charles Carlson March, 3 1951. Together they had three children, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Frances worked as a bookkeeper at Midwest Distributing for many years. She enjoyed gardening, spending time at their lake home and being with family and friends.
