Georgia Ann Brown, 68, of Blue Mound died Saturday, July 10, 2010, at Olathe Medical Center.
She was born Feb. 22, 1942, in Benton County, Mo., to David and Helen Estes Herren.
She was employed as a school bus driver for USD 346. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and Blue Mound senior citizens organization. She enjoyed crafts, cooking, baking and sewing. She collected porcelain dolls and made doll clothes for them.
Survivors include a son, Clifford III and his wife, Tricia, Iola; a brother, David Herren, Boicourt; three sisters, Patricia Willcut, Blue Mound, Nora McDaniel, Lee’s Summit, Mo., and Gladys Wiklund, Andover; and three grandchildren, Clifford Brown IV, Allison Marie Brown and Shaun Ludlum.
Her husband, Clifford Brown Jr., and a daughter, Loretta “Lori” Mozingo, died earlier.
Graveside memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Sunny Slope Cemetery in Blue Mound.
Visitation will be at the Blue Mound senior center following the service. Those attending are asked to bring a potluck dish for a dinner.
