WAVERLY — Positive reflections were tough to come by from Crest High’s 46-0 loss to Waverly High Friday night.
The road loss puts the Lancers AT 0-1 in district play and 2-3 overall.
The Bulldogs put 24 points on the Lancers in the first quarter, and another 22 in the second. The game ended at the half as part of the Kansas 8-man mercy rule.
The Lancers passing game was the only yard-producing aspect of Friday night’s contest. They threw for 91 yards of total offense. Clayton Miller had two receptions for 28 yards, Cody Vermillion had one for 28 yards and Austin Greene brought in a 35-yard reception.
