The Humboldt High Cubs have just a few games left to turn things around after falling to Neodesha 79-48 Tuesday.
After defeating Jayhawk-Linn Friday, the Cubs had hoped to carry their momentum over to Tuesday. Instead, their record dropped to 3-14 overall and they remain winless in Tri-Valley League play at 0-5.
The Lady Cubs also fell Tuesday to Neodesha, 43-36. With the loss, they fall to 6-10 and 0-7 in the TVL.
Both the Cubs and Lady Cubs will step away from TVL play Thursday, when they host Parsons.
They’ll hope 13 is their lucky number Friday, when they jump back into TVL play while on the road against Cherryvale.
The Lady Cubs play at 6 p.m. with the Cubs set to follow 20 minutes after the conclusion of the girls game.
