CHANUTE — Iola High’s freshmen posted a 1-2 mark in Tuesday’s volleyball matches hosted by Chanute High School.
The Fillies defeated Fort Scott 25-19, 25-13 then lost to Fort Scott 25-19, 25-16. Chanute beat Iola 25-22, 19-25, 15-5.
McKayli Cleaver and Emily McKarnin were top servers for the Fillies on the night.
Mikaela Platt and Taylor Sell led the team in kills at the net. Taylor Heslop had the most set assists.
The IHS freshman volleyball team plays Thursday at Anderson County High School in Garnett.
