The ninth-grade Iola girls took on Chanute Monday evening and fell 30-21.
Becca Sprague led the way with six points followed by five for Hannah Gardner, four for Sydney Shelly and Karley Schinstock and two points for Lauryn Holloway.
Iola will be back in action on Friday when they hit the road to face Wellsville.
