The Allen Community College Red Devils’ losing streak extended to four games after falling 2-1 to the Kansas City Kansas Blue Devils on the road Wednesday.
An unassisted goal at the 57-minute mark of the second period sealed the Blue Devils’ (5-2, 2-0) victory, leaving the Red Devils (3-3-2, 0-2-1) still looking for their first Jayhawk Conference win before hosting Pratt (2-3-1, 0-2) next Wednesday. Pratt is also winless in the Jayhawk Conference.
Kansas City jumped out to an early lead with a goal by freshman Andres Tamayo off an assist from freshman Lohan Poirier. Less than a minute later, Red Devils sophomore forward Pablo Martin tied the score after finding the back of the net off a pass from sophomore right wing Bastion Loock.
The stalemate lasted until the second period, when Kansas City’s Natan Masi found the back of the net.
