PLEASANTON — Sterling teamwork paid off Friday for Humboldt High’s girls, who ended play at the Pleasanton Midseason Tournament Friday with a 62-26 romp over Marmaton Valley.
“The girls had a fantastic team effort,” Lady Cub head coach Sherri Nelson said.
Lakota Wilson led the way with 15 points, seven rebounds and two steals. Makaylah McCall added 10 points, four rebounds, three steals and two assists. Delaney Umholtz had six points, four steals and two assists. Tilar Wells had five points, three boards and four steals. Megan Hudlin scored five points with three steals. Morgan Morris had four points and two steals. Kayle Riebel had three points. Hannah Hudlin scored two.
Humboldt hosts Yates Center tonight.
