MORAN — Marmaton Valley High’s girls had a tough go of it Friday against visiting Southern Coffey County, to say the least.
The Titans overwhelmed the Wildcats 41-13, holding their opponent to only three field goals.
Brianna Isch had 11 points for the Titans, followed by Chenae Newkirk with nine and Kalyn Deal with six. Ashlynn Pinkerton led for the Wildcats with six points, Emily Meiwis had three.
On Thursday, the Wildcats fell to Pleasanton, Pleasanton, 46-26.
Marmaton Valley bounced back in the second half, but could not make up much ground in a 46-26 defeat.
Emily Meiwes paced the Wildcats with eight points, followed by Kyla Drake with six, Kaitlyn Ensminger with five, Ashlynn Pinkerton with four and Misty Storrer with three.
Sydney Dent scored 16 to pace the Blu-Jays.
