Lady Titans roll past Blu-Jays

PLEASANTON — Patience paid off for Southern Coffey County High’s Lady Titans. Playing a non-league game Tuesday on the road, the Lady Titans decked Pleasanton High’s Blu-Jays 53-22.
They upped their season record to 8-7. Southern Coffey County goes to Altoona-Midway Thursday before hosting Lebo Friday for homecoming.
“The girls played a good all around game. We were patient on offense and shot the ball well,” said Jeff True, SCCH coach.
The Lady Titans had a commanding 27-7 halftime lead. Pleasanton never was in the game in the second half.
Samantha Jacob, who hit three three-pointers, scored 17 points for the Lady Titans. Ashton Isch also drilled three treys and had 12 points, three steals and four assists. Kristin Stephens added eight rebounds
Lindsey Conn had eight points for the Blu-Jays.
Pleasanton won the junior varsity game 31-25.
