MISSION HILLS — Iolan Kaden Macha wrapped up his participation Wednesday at the Kansas Amateur Championship with a second-round 76. The score was one stroke better than Macha’s opening round score of 77.
Macha is the defending Kansas Class 4A champion. He finished at 13-over-par, which put him in a tie for 94th overall.
Trey Herman of Hays shot a second-round 67 to win the tournament by one shot over Kyle Weldon of St. Louis.
The tournament was at Indian Hills Country Club.
