MVJH girls split games

MORAN — Marmaton Valley Junior High’s girls lost 43-15 to visiting Oswego Thursday night.
The Wildcats had two key players in foul trouble early. Oswego built a 27-11 halftime lead. The Wildcats weren’t able to catch up.
Lindsey McNeil scored eight points for Marmaton Valley. Mackenzie Tynon added five. Tessa Olson scored two.
The Wildcats won the B-team game 26-24. Marmaton Valley led 19-12 at halftime as Molly Hamlin hit a three-point field goal.
McNeil scored seven points while Samantha Root and Tynon each had six points. Hamlin scored five and Mariah Root added two.
