Stephen Neuenswander, former Iola High standout, is competing in today’s triple jump at the 2010 NJCAA National Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Hutchinson.
Neuenswander, a sophomore at Johnson County Community College in Overland Park, took 11th in the NJCAA Region VI track meet. His leap of 44 feet, 9 inches also garnered him seventh place in Jayhawk Eastern Division competition.
The triple jump was set for 10 o’clock this morning.
