INDEPENDENCE — Humboldt High’s Robbie Sellman took home second place Monday at the Tri-Valley League Golf Meet.
Sellman’s score of 76 keyed Humboldt to a sixth-place team score.
Troy Watson of Caney Valley scored a 69 to win the individual title. The Bullpups recorded the top team score of 322. Humboldt shot 453 as a team.
Humboldt’s Rhett Smith finished 20th with a 95. Yates Center’s Nick Schemper was one strike behind in 21st.
Tanner Porter scored a 115, finishing 32nd, while Conner Roseberry shot a 167 for Humboldt, finishing in 38th.
Derrick Heslop also competed for Yates Center, shooting a 135, good for 37th. The Wildcats did not register a team score because they entered only two golfers.
