The Crest Lancers hope to bounce back from Thursday’s 61-50 loss to Pleasanton.

The Lancers held their own early against Pleasanton but inconsistency seemed a factor as they failed to make up for a dismal 6-point third quarter.

The loss drops Crest’s record to 11-4 overall and third place in the Three Rivers League at 6-2.

Sophomore guard Kole Walter kept Crest in contention  with 11 points in the second quarter, and 6 points in the fourth quarter for a team-leading 24 points, including four 3-pointers. Junior guard Xander Fuller scored 9 points, all from the 3-point line. Senior forward Levi Prasko scored 8 points and sophomore guard Koi Miller had 7.

With just a few weeks left in the regular season, the Crest Lancers looked to return to form when they hosted Central Heights Friday.

Results were not available by press time.

The Lancers face Chetopa Tuesday.
