GRIDLEY — Southern Coffey County Junior High’s Titans squeezed past Crest Middle School’s Lancers Thursday.
The Titan football team beat the Lancers 22-20.
Rene Rodriguez had 145 yards of total offense as he scored three touchdowns and a two-point conversion for Crest. He also had 12 tackles on the defensive side.
Braden McGhee rushed for 45 yards and made five tackles on defense. Austin Green was 2 of 3 passing for 20 yards plus made six tackles defensively and recovered a fumble.
Hunter Frazell had an interception and three tackles. Codi Vermillon made five tackles followed by four each from Kellen Ramsey and Evan Godderz. Garrett Sipe had three tackles.
Crest hosts Uniontown next Thursday in Colony.
