MADISON — Southern Coffey County High’s track teams competed in the Madison High Invitational on April 30.
The Titans were third as a team and the Lady Titans finished seventh.
Jeremiah Mirante won the boy’s discus with a throw of 125 feet. He was fifth in the shot put at 29’81⁄2”. Ryan True was fifth in the javelin at 155’7”.
Colin Kraft took second in the triple jump, 39’10”, and third in the long jump at 18’111⁄2”. Aaron Ludloph placed third in the high jump, clearing 5’10”.
On the track, Kraft was the silver medalist in the 110-meter high hurdles in 16.22 seconds and in the 300-meter intermediate hurdles in 44.04.
Trevor Smith took second in the 100-meter dash, 11.46 seconds, and in the 200-meter dash, 24.58. Chyler Ludolph was fifth in the 400-meter dash in 58.37.
The Titan 4×100-meter relay team was sixth in 48.12.
For the girls, Shelby Birk earned gold, winning the long jump with a leap of 15’81⁄2”. Ashton Gudenkauf was second in the triple jump at 32’4”.
Gudenkauf was fourth in the high jump at 4’8”. Katelyn Rogers took fifth in the javelin with a throw of 99’11”.
Kandace Shields finished fourth in the 400-meter dash in 69.44 seconds.
