EL DORADO — Not much went right for Allen Community College’s women Wednesday as they traveled to ninth-ranked Butler County Wednesday.
The host Grizzlies started strong and finished stronger in a 103-28 romp.
The loss drops Allen to 7-12 overall and 0-3 in Jayhawk Conference Eastern Division play.
Butler jumped out to an early 19-2 lead. The margin was 62-17 at halftime. A 20-0 Grizzly run resulted in a 41-11 scoring advantage after the break.
Rebecca Fisher paced Allen with 12 points, while O’ceonna Weston pulled in seven rebounds and three steals. Kailey Cleaver had four assists.
Ashley Gibson scored 15 to lead Butler. Shayla Williams and Te’era Williams added 13 and 10, respectively.
Allen travels to Neosho County Saturday.
