The Crest Lady Lancers’ losing streak extended to four games after falling to Three Rivers League foe the Northeast Vikings 20-2 and 2-18 Monday night.

Freshman pitcher Brailee Edgerton took the loss in the opener while senior pitcher Kinley Edgerton took the loss in the finale as Crest failed to keep up with the Vikings in their second TRL contest of the season.

Brailee Edgerton registered a pair of strikeouts in the first loss.

Junior outfielder Jaycee Schmidt and senior shortstop Aylee Beckmon recorded both of Crest’s two RBIs. Beckmon tied sophomore catcher Summer Valentine and freshman outfielder Hannah Rush for the team lead in hits with two each.

Senior McKenna Powell registered Crest’s only RBI in the finale as the Lady Lancers fell 18-2, ending after the third inning. Beckmon had their only hit while successful in 1 of 2 at-bats.

With the loss, the Lady Lancers fell to 2-4 overall and 2-2 in TRL play. They look to get back above .500 in the TRL Thursday, when they face the Yates Center Wildcats on the road.

First pitch for the doubleheader is at 4:30 p.m.
