ARMA — Marmaton Valley Junior High girls lost a heartbreaker Thursday.
Host Northeast pulled out a 23-22 win over the Wildcats. Lindsey McNeil fired in eight points and Cheyenne English had seven for Marmaton Valley.
Emily Boyd scored three points while Samantha Root and Tessa Olson each had two points.
The Wildcats lost the B-team game 31-21. Mariah Root led the way with six points and S. Root had five.
Mackenzie Tynon and Kyla Drake each tossed in four points. Misty Storrer had two points.
Marmaton Valley wraps up the season with two home games next week, against Crest Monday and St. Rose on Thursday.
